Efficient Dissolved Air Flotation
Efficient dissolved air flotation operation and system principle:
Air flotation separation is the process of dissolving air and water at a certain pressure and condition, allowing the gas to dissolve into the water to
the maximum extent possible, striving to be in a saturated state. Then, the formed pressure dissolved gas water is released through a special device,
rapidly producing a large number of micro bubbles that come into full contact with the floating particles in the water (flocs after adding medicine). Under
the action of particle "trapping", "wrapping", and "bridging", the bubbles and the floating particles form a stable air entrained floc with a density lower
than that of water. Therefore, the air entrained floc quickly rises to the water surface, and the floating particles aggregate into floating slag on the liquid
surface. The floating slag is collected and removed to achieve solid-liquid separation. The purpose is to.
The effectiveness of solid-liquid separation mainly depends on the following three aspects:
1. Is the characteristic of flocs formed by the addition of suspended solids in water hydrophilic or aqueous (appropriate dosage).
2. In the mixed reaction, ensure that there are sufficient microbubbles in timely and sufficient contact with the floc.
3. In the separation reaction, the mixture of solid, gas, and liquid should have an appropriate residence time and a stable flow pattern, so that
the "gas floc" floats to the liquid surface and forms a floating slag. Controlling the flow state of the liquid is one of the key factors for the effectiveness of
separation.
Industry sectors applicable to high-efficiency dissolved air flotation:
1. Industrial wastewater pretreatment: wastewater from industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, textile printing and dyeing, semiconductors,
machinery, steel, chemicals, and aquaculture
2. Sewage treatment plant: sewage pretreatment, standard improvement, phosphorus removal
3. Water treatment plant: algae removal
4. Ecology: River and lake water purification, landscape water treatment
5. Seawater desalination engineering
